That bouquet is a lovely mix. The pale pink and cream trumpet shapes are calla lilies, there are white phalaenopsis orchids tucked through the lower half, a soft blush cluster at the centre that looks like hydrangea or garden rose, and the striking pink and cream leaf-like bloom near the top is an anthurium. The wispy green trailing out of the bottom is amaranthus.

For your 10 July date, most of this is straightforward. Calla lilies are reliably available right through the summer, and hydrangea and garden roses are at their best in July, so the blush heart of this bouquet sits comfortably in season.

The orchids and the anthurium are the exception, though not in the way you might expect. Neither is a British seasonal flower. Both are grown under glass and imported year-round, from Kenya, Colombia, Ecuador and Dutch greenhouses, so they are a question of cost rather than availability, whatever month you marry in.

If you want this look without the import bill, your florist could build the base from what is genuinely peaking in July, hydrangea and garden roses, and keep the calla lilies and orchids as a few considered accents rather than the whole story. That tends to read as more natural than styled, too.
