Book your wedding photographer
You put photographers first. The order you gave us at the start is the order Focus works in. It was waiting on your venue, and your venue is booked.
Focus shows the three tasks that matter now, chosen from what you said matters, how close things are and what unlocks what. The full plan waits quietly underneath.

Your next three · chosen from your own plan · every one carries its next step, and Assist if you'd rather ask
You don't need a longer list, you need a shorter one that's actually yours. We've already worked out 116 wedding tasks, what you tell us decides which of them are yours, and only three come up at a time.

Nothing on the list is there by accident. Each of the three can tell you what put it at the top, and what it holds up until it's done.

Give notice of marriage at your local register office
The date on this one isn't yours to set. In England and Wales you both give notice in person, at least 29 days before the wedding, and the rest of your paperwork waits on it.
Build the guest list
Two other tasks are stuck behind it. Save the dates and invitations can't move until the list exists, so it lifts above tasks that hold nothing up.
Tap Ask Assist on almost any task and the question is already written for you. The rest skip the asking and take you straight there, to your matches or your budget.
Send save-the-dates
What the tap sends, and what comes back
Help us draft save-the-date wording. Formal and casual options
Save-the-dates usually go out about a year ahead, with invitations following at around six months. A July Saturday with 110 guests travelling is worth giving the full year. On wording, formal means full names and a clean layout, with the detail saved for the invitation. Casual means first names and a line in your own voice. Either way you need four things: your names, the date, roughly where, and that a full invitation follows.

“The couples who enjoyed planning were not the organised ones. They were the ones who knew what to do this month and ignored the rest.”
